Commanders of the most effective units of the USF Grouping honored with state awards

During the "Army of Drones — 2025" event, the President of Ukraine and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine recognized the most effective units, which accumulated the highest number of "eBaly" points based on the results of 2025. Among all units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, six units of the Unmanned Systems Forces Grouping placed in the top 10:

• 414th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Magyar's Birds"
• Main Department of Unmanned Aerial Systems "Phoenix" of the SBGSU
• 429th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Achilles"
• 427th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Rarog"
• 59th Separate Assault Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Steppe Predators"
• 412th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Nemesis"

The commanders of these units were recognized accordingly:

• Major Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the 429th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Achilles", was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order "Golden Star".
• Lieutenant Colonel Oleh Huyt, commander of the 427th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Rarog", was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order "Golden Star".
• Colonel Andrii Klymenko, Hero of Ukraine, commander of the 414th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Magyar's Birds", was honored with the Presidential Commendation "Personal Firearm".
• Colonel Dmytro Oleksyuk, Hero of Ukraine, commander of the Main Department of Unmanned Aerial Systems "Phoenix" of the SBGSU, was honored with the Presidential Commendation "Personal Firearm".
• Lieutenant Colonel Anatoliy Merkotun, commander of the 412th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Nemesis", was awarded the Order "For Merit", 3rd Class.
• Colonel Oleksandr Sak, commander of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade of Unmanned Systems "Steppe Predators", was awarded the Order "For Merit", 3rd Class.
