Training Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Training Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provides professional training in the field of unmanned systems and general military disciplines. The Center integrates comprehensive educational and scientific components.
About the Training Center
The Unmanned Systems Forces Training Center is the only dedicated educational institution within the structure of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), providing basic and specialist training of the highest level across unmanned technology disciplines.
The mission of the USF Training Center is to train service members capable of making effective use of modern technology, adapting quickly to changes on the battlefield, and performing to results within their units.
We develop specialists for whom unmanned systems are not simply equipment, but a way of thinking and a means of dominance over the enemy.
Our approach is not only to teach how to operate a system, but to prepare personnel for coordinated action and for carrying out missions in real conditions.
History
The Center began as a narrowly specialized structural unit within one of the military institutes.
In 2019, it was separated out and became an independent military unit subordinate to the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
2024–2025: with the establishment of the Unmanned Systems Forces as a new branch of the military, the Training Center was integrated into the USF structure and transformed into an advanced technology hub for operators of unmanned systems of all types.
Training Tracks
The USF Training Center trains service members in the technological disciplines that are critical to the architecture of modern warfare.
The Center's aim is to give cadets the confidence to carry out missions effectively as part of combat units — through knowledge, hands-on skills, and the up-to-date experience of its instructors.
Strike UAV
Training operators of strike unmanned aerial systems to engage the enemy under present-day battlefield conditions.
Reconnaissance UAV
Training operators of reconnaissance UAVs for surveillance, target detection, and intelligence gathering.
Ground Robotic Systems
The school trains operators of ground robotic systems for logistics, engineering, evacuation, and special-purpose tasks.
Basic Military Training (BMT)
Basic Military Training builds the core skills of a service member: firearms and tactical training, tactical medicine, land navigation, radio communications, camouflage, and counter-UAS measures.
Complex Tactical Exercise
The final stage of training, during which service members practice coordination between units and the employment of unmanned and robotic systems in scenarios as close as possible to real combat conditions.
