A UAV technician is responsible for the technical condition of unmanned aerial vehicles, their preparation for operation, and routine maintenance. The role focuses on working with hardware and systems rather than operating flights or planning missions.
Responsibilities
- Performing technical inspections of unmanned aerial vehicles before and after use;
- Assembling, disassembling, and configuring UAV components;
- Diagnosing technical issues and carrying out basic repairs;
- Maintaining batteries, electronics, and related equipment;
- Keeping technical records of maintenance and equipment status;
- Following safety procedures when working with technical equipment.
Requirements
- Basic technical knowledge in electronics or mechanics;
- Ability to work with hand tools and technical documentation;
- Attention to detail and responsible handling of equipment;
- Willingness to learn and work with new types of technology;
- Physical ability to perform technical maintenance tasks
