A UAV technician is responsible for the technical condition of unmanned aerial vehicles, their preparation for operation, and routine maintenance. The role focuses on working with hardware and systems rather than operating flights or planning missions.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing technical issues in unmanned aerial vehicles;
- Repairing electronic, mechanical, and structural UAV components;
- Replacing damaged or worn parts and assemblies;
- Testing UAVs after repair to confirm operational status;
- Working with technical documentation and recording completed repairs;
- Following safety procedures during repair activities.
Requirements
- Practical experience in repairing electronic or technical equipment;
- Understanding of electromechanical system principles;
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments;
- Attention to detail and responsible handling of equipment;
- Willingness to learn and work with new types of technology.
