412th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Systems Nemesis
412 Nemesis is a multidomain unit operating against ground, air, and maritime targets from tactical to operational depth. The unit disrupts the enemy’s offensive plans and imposes its own rules of combat operations.
History
The story of the Nemesis unit began in the fall of 2023, when a group of like-minded people came together around a bold idea: to create a unit that would fight in a new way. Its tactics would be based on heavy drone bombers and its own culture and combat system, developed from scratch.
Key stages of deployment:
08.02.2024 – first combat mission of the Nemesis crew
18.08.2024 – Nemesis battalion joined the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine
September 2024 – Nemesis battalion entered the TOP-3 for the first time in terms of the number of hits of Russian air defense systems
28.11.2024 – ASGARD FPV unit joins the Nemesis battalion
autumn 2024-winter 2025 – Nemesis regiment provided 20% of air defense hits in the occupied territories
18.12.2024 – Nemesis battalion became a separate regiment
26.03.2025 – the unit reached the mark of 10,000 combat missions
09.04.2025 - the regiment reported on the first 100 destroyed enemy tanks
04.05.2025 – the regiment’s own BZVP center began operating
21.02.2025 – the regiment’s fighters shot down a “shaheed” for the first time in the world with an interceptor drone
Spring 2025 – the Darknode unit of the Nemesis regiment became the first in Ukraine and the world to use “drone air defense”, ensuring the systematic and effective defeat of Russian “shaheeds”
01.11.2025 – the Nemesis regiment was scaled up into the 412th Separate Brigade of the SBS Nemesis
Anatolii Merkotun
A participant of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) as part of the “Phantom” special unit. With the start of the full-scale invasion, he took up the defense of the country and participated in the liberation of the Kyiv region. One of the first initiators of the military use of agricultural bomber drones.
