Senior Rust Developer

The Senior Rust Developer is a key technical specialist responsible for the architecture, development, and stability of high-load backend systems. The role involves creating reliable services using a modern stack (Tokio, Axum, gRPC), building complex data streaming systems via Kafka/NATS, and implementing best practices in security and deterministic testing for unit needs.
Responsibilities
- maintain, develop, and implement highly reliable software in Rust;
- design solution architectures while adhering to strict information security requirements;
- ensure code quality through rigorous reviews, unit/integration, and property-based testing;
- optimize interactions with databases (PostgreSQL) and message brokers;
- monitor and profile systems (observability) to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks;
- provide architectural proposals for scaling and improving software functionality.
Requirements
- 5+ years in backend development (including 3+ years of production experience with Rust);
- deep understanding of Rust (ownership, lifetimes, async/await, Tokio);
- experience with the web stack (Axum/Actix, gRPC, HTTP/2) and databases (PostgreSQL, sqlx);
- hands-on experience with Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ (exactly-once, partitioning);
- proficiency in Docker, CI/CD tools, and understanding of K8s/Nomad principles;
- experience with TypeScript/Node.js and understanding of frontend framework needs (React/Angular);
- English proficiency at B2+ level (technical documentation and communication);
- fitness for military service for health reasons.
