The crew commander is responsible for managing a strike unmanned aerial vehicle unit (fixed-wing and FPV) and ensuring the successful execution of combat missions. The role combines leadership, logistical planning, technical oversight of UAV systems, and coordinating crew operations with other units.
Responsibilities
- organize and directly manage the crew during mission execution;
- plan logistics and ensure the crew's operational support;
- establish coordination with adjacent units and the planning group;
- execute aerial reconnaissance and precision strike missions;
- oversee the technical condition and maintenance of UAV systems;
- analyze operational results and prepare mission reports.
Requirements
- experience with UAVs, knowledge of communication principles and autopilot systems;
- proficiency in map reading, topography, and land navigation;
- background in IT or engineering;
- understanding of principles for handling explosive substances;
- English language proficiency for working with technical documentation;
- leadership qualities, responsibility, and the ability to make decisions under pressure;
- fitness for military service for health reasons.
