
UAV Ground Support Crew Member

The ground support crew member is responsible for the technical and logistical support of unmanned aerial vehicle operations. The role involves preparing operational positions, maintaining aircraft directly in the mission zone, handling munitions, and ensuring crew mobility.
Responsibilities
- collaborate with adjacent units to collect relevant information;
- perform reconnaissance and identify optimal UAV launch sites;
- provide logistical support and operational maintenance for crews;
- set up and camouflage firing positions and launch points;
- configure, maintain, and arm UAV systems;
- handle munitions and strike components;
- maintain technical equipment functionality on the line of contact.
Requirements
- experience in operating or maintaining UAV systems;
- proficiency in PC use and a strong technical mindset;
- valid driver’s license and driving skills;
- ability to navigate terrain and work with maps;
- physical endurance and readiness for exertion;
- ability to handle large volumes of information under stress;
- fitness for military service for health reasons.
Conditions
- military service under mobilization or contract;
- transfer of currently serving military personnel is not available;
- enlisted personnel position (soldier/sergeant rank);
