Driver (Logistics Support)
The driver is responsible for transporting personnel and service property, as well as maintaining the operational condition of assigned vehicles. The position belongs to the logistics and support function and focuses on transportation and movement coordination within the unit.
The role involves operating vehicles, carrying out transport tasks, and following established operating and discipline requirements.
Responsibilities
• operating assigned vehicles;
• transporting personnel and cargo;
• organizing and carrying out the movement of service property;
• keeping vehicles in proper working condition and constant readiness for use;
• performing basic technical maintenance of assigned vehicles;
• maintaining the vehicle and understanding its technical and operational characteristics;
• ensuring timely vehicle availability for task execution;
• following commanders’ orders and maintaining discipline.
Requirements
• valid driver’s license categories B and C (categories D and E are an advantage);
• experience driving cargo vehicles;
• knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance rules;
• basic skills in vehicle technical maintenance;
• responsibility, punctuality, and stress resistance;
• ability to perform a variety of logistics-related tasks;
• fitness for service based on health condition.
Conditions
• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract-based service;
• possibility of transfer for active servicemembers with the consent of the direct commander;
• possibility of service in support units according to the VLK conclusion;
• financial compensation in accordance with current legislation;
• guaranteed annual basic leave;
• full material and medical support in accordance with legislation.
