Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHLogistics / Transport
The driver-sapper combines driving with engineering support: transports personnel, property and equipment, and takes part in engineer reconnaissance and in setting up positions. The work requires driving skills in field conditions, technical knowledge and strict adherence to safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- driving the assigned vehicle and safely transporting personnel, materials, engineering equipment, mechanization tools and other property;
- taking part in engineer reconnaissance of the terrain;
- taking part in engineering work and in building fortifications, routes and positions;
- taking part in locating and marking explosive objects and ensuring safety when working with them, in line with the training received;
- daily technical inspection, maintenance and minor repairs of the vehicle;
- observing safety requirements and safeguarding the assigned property, vehicle and engineering equipment.
Requirements
- experience driving vehicles and confident driving skills in various road and field conditions;
- driving licence in categories B and C;
- knowledge of vehicle design, operating rules and the basics of maintenance;
- physical endurance and good physical fitness;
- readiness to carry out tasks in combat zones;
- stress resistance and the ability to work in a team;
- skills in working with special engineering equipment and tools will be an advantage.
Conditions
- service by contract or mobilization; transfer is available for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
