Interceptor Drone Operator
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The interceptor drone operator protects the airspace over the unit's positions: watches the sky, launches an anti-aircraft drone towards an incoming enemy aircraft and guides it onto the target. The work is done as part of an air defence crew in an unmanned systems regiment, in the combat zone, where decisions must be made in seconds and drones are serviced between flights.
Responsibilities
- flying anti-aircraft drones to intercept enemy unmanned aircraft;
- monitoring the airspace and detecting hostile aircraft;
- guiding the interceptor onto the target and destroying it;
- servicing drones of various types and equipping them for work;
- preparing aircraft and equipment for missions;
- following safety procedures during combat operations.
Requirements
- digital literacy and fast learning;
- ability to make decisions under stress;
- attentiveness, responsibility and discipline;
- readiness to work in the combat zone.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- free medical treatment;
- guaranteed annual paid leave.
