UAV Technician / Mechanic

The UAV technician/mechanic is responsible for the technical condition of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their systems: services, diagnoses, repairs, calibrates and upgrades them. The work requires engineering thinking, attention to detail and constant coordination with operators.
Responsibilities
- technical inspection, diagnostics and repair of UAVs;
- replacing, adjusting and testing components;
- checking navigation, communication, control and stabilization systems;
- calibrating cameras, sensors and controllers;
- preparing aircraft for flights and carrying out technical checks after missions;
- working with UAV operators to resolve technical problems;
- keeping technical records and maintenance reports.
Requirements
- technical education or experience in electronics, radio engineering, aviation or IT;
- knowledge of unmanned system design: motors, controllers, batteries, antennas, sensors;
- skills in soldering, configuring electronic components and balancing propellers;
- attention to detail, accuracy, analytical thinking.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer from other units for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
- uniform and equipment provided;
- medical care and free treatment;
- 15 days of leave every six months; additional leave for family circumstances where there are legal grounds.
