Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The external UAV pilot or second crew member serves in an all-female crew that intercepts hostile strike and reconnaissance drones. Flies the aircraft during missions or prepares it for launch, monitors the condition of batteries and communications gear and keeps a log of flights. The work is done in field conditions and in combat areas.
Responsibilities
- piloting UAVs during combat missions;
- intercepting hostile strike and reconnaissance drones;
- working as the second crew member and preparing the aircraft for launch;
- operating the equipment and tools used by the crew;
- monitoring the serviceability of aircraft, batteries and communications gear;
- keeping records of flights and mission results.
Requirements
- good physical fitness and stamina;
- knowledge of specialized radio equipment and software;
- readiness to work in air defense, intercepting drones;
- attentiveness and the ability to stay focused during long shifts;
- experience with UAVs is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- full provision of uniform, equipment and meals;
- annual paid leave and additional leave;
- statutory benefits and social guarantees.
