The logistics and maintenance platoon commander gets supplies to units in the field: plans the delivery of materiel, organizes the repair of assigned vehicles and equipment and keeps track of fuel and spare parts stocks. Leads the platoon's personnel and maintains records and paperwork. This is an officer position in an unmanned systems brigade.
Responsibilities
- commanding the platoon and assigning tasks to its personnel;
- planning and organizing the delivery of materiel to the units;
- organizing the repair and maintenance of assigned vehicles and equipment;
- monitoring the availability and condition of fuel, lubricant and spare parts stocks;
- maintaining administrative paperwork and records of materiel;
- maintaining discipline, internal order and the platoon's readiness.
Requirements
- experience in logistics and maintenance support;
- record-keeping skills and knowledge of document workflows;
- organizational skills and the ability to lead personnel;
- service in support units or a background in logistics is an advantage.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 50,000;
- full provision of uniform, equipment and meals;
- annual paid leave, additional leave, statutory benefits and social guarantees.
