Drone Munitions Engineer

The drone munitions engineer prepares payloads for use from a drone: fits out FPV drones and drop systems, adapts standard grenades, mines and rounds, mounts charges and remote detonation systems, and checks the reliability of every connection. The work, in a State Border Guard Service drone unit, demands strict compliance with rules for handling explosives.
Responsibilities
- preparing munitions for use and attaching them to drones;
- adapting standard grenades, mines and rounds for drop systems;
- mounting explosive charges and shaped-charge warheads on FPV drones;
- ensuring a reliable connection between the charge and the initiation system;
- checking, installing and calibrating remote detonation systems;
- following safety rules during all work with munitions.
Requirements
- care and strict adherence to rules for handling munitions;
- willingness to complete training in explosive ordnance engineering;
- basic skills with tools and electronic components;
- composure and focus during repetitive precision work.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer to the State Border Guard Service for those already serving;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- housing and meals provided from arrival at the unit;
- transport for the candidate to the unit's location;
- full provision of uniform and equipment;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
