Drone Instructor
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The drone instructor teaches the crews of an unmanned aviation unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine to fly different types of aircraft and brings them together as teams before they go on missions. Draws up lesson programmes and training materials, plans routes for training flights, supervises them, assesses operator readiness and keeps records of training results.
Responsibilities
- teaching service members to pilot different types of drones;
- building drone crews into coordinated teams;
- preparing training materials and lesson programmes;
- planning missions and routes for training flights;
- supervising training flights;
- assessing crews' knowledge and skills based on training results;
- keeping records of training outcomes.
Requirements
- hands-on experience piloting unmanned aerial vehicles;
- ability to explain material and work with a group of trainees;
- responsibility and attentiveness when supervising flights;
- knowledge of flight safety rules and pre-flight preparation procedures.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine; transfer for those already serving;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- housing and meals provided from the moment of arrival at the unit, including during enlistment paperwork;
- transport for the candidate to the unit's location;
- uniform and equipment provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
