The driver-mechanic carries personnel and cargo for an unmanned systems center along set routes and, between trips, services the assigned vehicle on their own: diagnoses faults in the chassis, engine and electrical system and repairs them without outside help. Keeps trip records and fuel accounts. The job combines long-distance driving with time in the workshop.
Responsibilities
- transporting personnel and cargo along set routes;
- daily check of the vehicle's technical condition before departure;
- diagnosing faults in the chassis, engine and electrical equipment;
- scheduled maintenance of the assigned vehicle;
- routine repair of units and assemblies without outside help;
- keeping trip records and accounting for fuel and lubricants.
Requirements
- category C and CE driving licence;
- experience as a driver or driver-mechanic;
- confident computer user, including MS Office;
- composure under stress, decisiveness and a strong sense of responsibility;
- long-haul and international haulage experience is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus insurance and free medical care;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave for family reasons;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees;
- additional specialist training for the role.
