The support unit driver delivers cargo along the unit's routes, completes the accompanying paperwork and keeps mileage records. The driver looks after the vehicle's condition independently, carries out a daily inspection and fixes simple faults on the road in order to get back on the route without outside help. The work is largely independent, with regular trips.
Responsibilities
- delivering cargo along the unit's routes;
- completing the accompanying paperwork for cargo;
- keeping the vehicle in working order;
- carrying out preventive maintenance and daily vehicle inspections;
- simple vehicle repairs in the field to get back on the route;
- keeping trip records and mileage logs.
Requirements
- category B driving licence and confident driving experience;
- ability to carry out simple vehicle repairs in the field;
- land navigation and map-reading skills;
- completed secondary education;
- attentiveness behind the wheel and responsibility for the cargo.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 100,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus insurance and free medical care;
- annual paid leave and 10 additional days of leave for family reasons;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
