UAV Platoon Commander

The UAV platoon commander leads crews on reconnaissance and strike missions: assigns tasks to operators, verifies collected data and adjusts fire, and is responsible for training the personnel and keeping the systems serviceable. Makes decisions under combat conditions and coordinates with neighbouring units; service may take place in different sectors of the brigade.
Responsibilities
- leading a UAV platoon during missions;
- organizing and coordinating reconnaissance and strike missions with unmanned aerial systems;
- adjusting fire and verifying the accuracy of reported information;
- making decisions under combat conditions and assigning tasks to crews;
- training the platoon's personnel and supervising their actions;
- keeping the platoon combat-ready and its systems serviceable;
- coordinating with other units on joint missions.
Requirements
- higher education and at least two years of service, preferably in a related specialty;
- experience with UAVs and command of modern unmanned systems;
- leadership and the ability to organize a team;
- ability to make responsible decisions quickly under stress;
- responsibility, discipline and focus on results;
- readiness to serve in different sectors.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- material support and social assistance;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- support from the command and opportunity to train in a specialty.
