
Nurse (Combat/Field Support)
A Nurse (Combat/Field Support) provides frontline medical support by delivering immediate first aid, performing routine medical procedures, monitoring personnel health, and assisting with evacuation to medical facilities when required. The role includes maintaining medical supplies, documenting care provided, and working closely with medical staff to ensure consistent support in field environments.
Responsibilities
- provide immediate first aid to injured and ill personnel;
- monitor the health status of personnel and support preventive health measures;
- help organize casualty evacuation to medical facilities and support the process within assigned duties;
- perform medical procedures such as injections, wound dressings, and vital-sign monitoring;
- maintain medical records and document assessments and care provided;
- manage medical supplies and deliver assistance during emergencies;
- coordinate with medical staff to ensure an appropriate level of medical support.
Requirements
- vocational or higher medical education in nursing or a related clinical field;
- prior experience as a nurse is an advantage;
- knowledge of basic first aid principles and health maintenance practices;
- physical endurance and readiness to work in demanding conditions;
- ability to stay calm and effective under stress;
- readiness to work in field environments, including operational areas.
