The radar operator is responsible for operating radar systems, monitoring the airspace, and detecting targets. The role involves maintaining radar equipment, analyzing radar data, and transmitting information for further operational use.
Responsibilities
- operate and maintain radar equipment in proper working condition;
- monitor the surrounding area using radar systems;
- detect and identify objects using radar data;
- transmit information about detected objects to relevant units;
- assist in preparing and relocating positions for effective radar operation;
- maintain operational records and documentation;
- follow safety requirements and operational procedures when working with equipment.
Requirements
- basic technical knowledge or technical education is an advantage;
- experience working with electronic equipment or computer systems is an advantage;
- attention to detail and ability to analyze information;
- ability to work under pressure;
- readiness to work in field conditions;
- responsibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Conditions
- military service under mobilization or contract;
