Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
A Spotter is a service member working as part of a strike UAV crew, responsible for preparing munitions and equipment before missions, supporting the operation of the ground control station, remaining at the position with the crew, and ensuring the UAV is ready for combat tasks.
Responsibilities
- participating in combat deployments and final preparation of multirotor strike UAVs with ordnance;
- servicing and storing UAV munitions in accordance with established safety rules;
- preparing munitions and initiators before deployment to positions;
- setting up the ground control station and bringing the UAV to the launch site;
- remaining at the position together with the crew or ground team.
Requirements
- ability and motivation to learn quickly;
- experience working with explosives or participation in configuring UAV munitions;
- no musculoskeletal disorders;
- resilience and motivation to perform combat tasks;
- use of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of the period of martial law or service under a contract;
- possibility of transfer for current service members with the consent of their immediate commander;
- service is not available for candidates with unauthorized absence status;
- provision of personal protective equipment and military property;
- on-the-job training within the unit after basic military training;
- annual leave in accordance with Ukrainian legislation;
- rotation schedule: 15 days at positions — 10 days rest;
- guaranteed assignment specifically to the relevant unit.
