
CBRN Protection Specialist and Driver

The CBRN protection specialist and driver protects personnel from radiological, chemical and biological threats: conducts the relevant reconnaissance, detects and identifies hazardous substances, decontaminates equipment and terrain, and drives the assigned special-purpose vehicle. The work takes place in the field, often in personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
- conducting radiological, chemical and biological reconnaissance;
- detecting, analyzing and identifying hazardous substances;
- organizing and carrying out radiological, chemical and biological protection measures;
- decontaminating, degassing and disinfecting terrain, equipment and gear;
- preparing and using personal and collective protective equipment;
- driving the assigned special-purpose vehicle and keeping it in working order;
- keeping records and reporting on the measures carried out.
Requirements
- a driving license and skills in driving heavy vehicles;
- basic knowledge of chemistry and an understanding of how hazardous substances act;
- readiness to work in personal protective equipment;
- attention and precision in measurements and reporting;
- physical stamina and readiness for field conditions.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided in full;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
