Cryptographic Information Protection Specialist

The cryptographic information protection specialist builds and maintains the brigade's information protection system: looks for vulnerabilities, implements fixes, restores corrupted files and storage media and monitors how personnel handle data carriers. The position sits within the service that protects state secrets; it is computer-based work with restricted data.
Responsibilities
- developing, implementing and improving the information protection system;
- identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities in the system;
- implementing solutions to close the vulnerabilities found;
- restoring corrupted programs, files and storage media;
- monitoring compliance with the rules for handling data carriers;
- briefing personnel on information security requirements.
Requirements
- technical literacy and confident handling of computer equipment;
- experience in cybersecurity or IT;
- understanding of current threats and the countermeasures against them;
- responsibility in handling restricted information;
- a degree in cybersecurity and information protection is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with their commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 23,000 to UAH 53,000;
- computer-based service; uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- benefits, annual paid leave, additional leave and statutory social guarantees.
