Camouflage Specialist

The camouflage specialist hides the unit's personnel, vehicles, weapons and engineering structures from detection: builds shelters and camouflage netting, selects materials, and refreshes the camouflage as terrain and season change, including in the infrared spectrum. The work is done in the field with the engineering team of an unmanned systems regiment.
Responsibilities
- camouflaging personnel, vehicles, weapons and engineering structures;
- building and maintaining shelters, camouflage nets and covers;
- selecting natural and artificial materials to reduce the visibility of positions;
- concealing objects in the visible, infrared and other detection spectrums;
- updating camouflage as the terrain and season change;
- taking part in building engineering structures, shelters and positions;
- looking after camouflage materials, supplies and tools.
Requirements
- understanding of camouflage principles and concealment of objects on the ground;
- physical stamina and readiness to spend long periods in the field;
- attentiveness, accuracy and observation skills;
- ability to work in a team and complete tasks within limited time;
- experience in construction, engineering work or building positions is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- free medical treatment;
- annual paid leave guaranteed by law.
