An Electronic Warfare Specialist is a service member who configures, employs, and maintains electronic warfare systems to detect and counter enemy radio communications and uncrewed systems. The role combines hands-on work with radio-frequency equipment, analysis of the electromagnetic environment, and coordination with other teams to improve overall countermeasures effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- configure, operate, and maintain electronic warfare systems to disrupt or block signals;
- conduct electronic countermeasures against enemy uncrewed systems of various types, within assigned tasking;
- rapidly detect radio emitters and apply countermeasures against other enemy assets as required;
- keep electronic warfare equipment mission-ready and adjust settings based on mission conditions;
- assess the effectiveness of electronic warfare employment and adjust actions based on outcomes;
- coordinate with other teams/units to synchronize actions and improve effectiveness;
- develop and test new methods and approaches for employing electronic warfare capabilities within the scope of the role.
Requirements
- basic understanding of radio communications principles and radio-frequency systems;
- experience with radio/electronic equipment or communications is an advantage;
- education in radio engineering or hands-on experience configuring radio-electronic hardware is an advantage;
- analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to make timely decisions within assigned tasks;
- ability to work in a team and follow procedures;
- willingness to learn and develop professionally;
- medical fitness for military service;
- readiness to operate in field conditions, including in an active combat environment.

- pay: UAH 120,000/month while assigned to combat tasks.
