Electric Forklift Driver

The electric forklift driver handles loading and unloading at warehouses, vehicle parks and supply points and is responsible for keeping cargo intact. The work calls for careful handling of property, knowledge of safety rules and regular checks of the forklift's condition.
Responsibilities
- operating an electric forklift during loading and unloading at warehouses, vehicle parks and supply points;
- moving, stacking, loading and unloading supplies, ammunition, food and other property;
- following the rules for slinging, stacking and transporting cargo within the warehouse;
- daily inspection, technical condition check and simple maintenance of the forklift;
- checking the condition of batteries, hydraulic systems and working mechanisms;
- keeping cargo, equipment and assigned property safe;
- safe operation of the forklift according to technical documentation, compliance with occupational safety and fire safety rules.
Requirements
- experience as a forklift driver, warehouse equipment operator or logistics equipment operator is an advantage;
- knowledge of the design and operating principles of an electric forklift;
- ability to carry out loading and unloading and place cargo correctly;
- skills in maintaining battery-powered equipment;
- responsibility, attention, discipline and accuracy when handling cargo;
- ability to work in a team under heavy workload;
- readiness to work in warehouses and field logistics points.
Conditions
- service under contract or by mobilization, as well as transfer from other military units;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- medical support for service members;
- annual leave as well as additional rest days;
- social package and benefits set by law.
