
Electrical Engineer

The electrical engineer provides the unit's positions and workshops with independent power: installs solar power stations, inverters, batteries, generators and switchboard equipment, lays cable runs, commissions the systems and sets up their monitoring. Then services them and repairs faults on site. The work is mostly on location, following electrical safety rules.
Responsibilities
- connecting and configuring solar power stations and backup power systems;
- installing inverters, distribution boards, current transformers and generators;
- laying DC and AC cable runs between equipment;
- connecting and configuring switchboard equipment, batteries and generators;
- carrying out commissioning work and bringing stations into operation;
- setting up equipment monitoring systems;
- servicing stations, diagnosing and repairing faults.
Requirements
- vocational technical education in a relevant field;
- hands-on experience in electrical installation work;
- experience commissioning and adjusting inverters and generators;
- ability to read electrical diagrams and drawings;
- experience working with alternating and direct current;
- knowledge of how power stations and generators work and of electrical safety rules.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
