A communications specialist ensures the operation of a unit’s communication systems and supports uninterrupted information exchange during task execution. The role involves working with communication equipment, its setup, maintenance, and keeping systems operational in various conditions.
The position requires technical attention to detail, discipline, and the ability to act in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
- providing units with communication equipment;
- configuring, maintaining, and performing basic repairs of communication systems;
- installing and servicing elements of communication systems;
- supporting stable and secure operation of communication channels;
- ensuring timely transmission of operational information and documents;
- complying with information security requirements when working with communication equipment.
Requirements
- basic knowledge of radio communication principles and communication systems;
- experience with digital radios or other communication systems will be an advantage;
- technical or specialized training will be an advantage;
- category B driver’s license;
- responsibility, discipline, and stress resistance;
- ability to work as part of a team;
- fitness for service based on health condition;
- willingness to learn and work with new equipment.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract-based service;
- financial compensation from 25,000 to 100,000 UAH depending on conditions and place of service;
- full-time service;
