An automotive mechanic ensures the technical condition and readiness of vehicles used by the unit to perform tasks. The role includes diagnostics, scheduled maintenance, and repair of vehicles in accordance with established technical requirements and procedures.
The position involves working with mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, using tools and equipment, and maintaining basic technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- diagnosing technical malfunctions of vehicles;
- performing scheduled maintenance;
- repairing engines, suspension systems, and electrical systems;
- working with tools, equipment, and technical documentation;
- maintaining vehicle readiness for deployment;
- complying with safety requirements during repair and maintenance work.
Requirements
- experience in vehicle repair or relevant technical training;
- knowledge of basic mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulics;
- ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues;
- ability to work independently, responsibility, and attention to order;
- basic skills in working with technical documentation;
- fitness for service based on health condition;
- willingness to learn and improve professional skills.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract-based service;
- possibility of transfer for active servicemembers with the consent of their direct commander;
- financial compensation from 50,000 to 120,000 UAH depending on tasks and place of service;
- full-time service;
