Electronics repair technician

An electronics repair technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring electronic devices and modules used by the unit. The role includes working with circuit boards, components, and measuring tools, identifying faults, and testing equipment after repair. The primary focus is diagnostic accuracy, repair reliability, and compliance with technical procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing electronic devices, boards, and modules;
  • Repairing and replacing electronic components;
  • Soldering and restoring traces and contacts;
  • Testing devices after repair and verifying functionality;
  • Keeping records of completed repairs and used components;
  • Following electrical safety and technical standards.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of electronics and circuit principles;
  • Skills in using soldering equipment and measuring instruments;
