A video editing director is responsible for selecting, structuring, and editing video materials according to assigned objectives. The role involves working with various video formats, building clear narrative flow, applying basic motion graphics, and collaborating with a creative team. The primary focus is content clarity, technical quality, and adherence to production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing, selecting, and structuring source video materials;
- Editing videos of varying length according to assigned tasks;
- Selecting music tracks from licensed music libraries;
- Performing basic motion graphics work in AFTER EFFECTS;
- Participating in team brainstorming sessions to develop new video formats.
Requirements
- Experience in video editing and video material processing;
- Proficiency with DAVINCI RESOLVE, ADOBE PREMIERE PRO, and basic AFTER EFFECTS;
- Skills in masking, tracking, color correction, and titles;
- Ability to select and structure footage into a coherent narrative;
- Understanding of framing, composition, lighting, and sound basics;
- Psychological resilience, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
