The cook prepares food for the brigade's personnel: provides hot meals every day, portions and serves them, keeps to sanitary standards and looks after kitchen equipment. Keeps records of food stocks in the kitchen and storeroom and helps draw up menus from the products available. Shift-based work as part of a kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- cooking meals for the unit's service members;
- following sanitary standards and food preparation procedures;
- keeping records of food and storing it properly in the storeroom and kitchen;
- helping plan menus based on the products available;
- portioning and serving prepared meals to personnel;
- keeping the kitchen clean and the equipment in working order.
Requirements
- experience as a cook or relevant vocational training;
- knowledge of sanitary standards and food handling rules;
- ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- tidiness and responsibility;
- readiness to work in shifts.
Conditions
- service under contract or mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, insurance and free medical treatment;
- annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;
- statutory social guarantees.
