Communications Duty Specialist

The communications duty specialist monitors the state of the brigade's networks around the clock on a shift schedule: relay stations, VPN links, Starlink terminals and LTE channels. Logs incidents, coordinates technical work as a dispatcher, checks communication with units and reports to senior staff. Screen-based work using specialized monitoring software.
Responsibilities
- monitoring the technical state of equipment and networks with specialized software;
- overseeing relay stations, VPN links, Starlink terminals and LTE channels;
- tracking the radio and air situation and running communication checks with units;
- coordinating technical work as a dispatcher and logging incidents;
- keeping logs and statistics on the operation of communications equipment;
- advising on radio coverage and forwarding requests to those responsible;
- preparing urgent and scheduled reports for senior staff.
Requirements
- advanced computer user skills, including monitoring software;
- attention to detail and discipline;
- readiness to work in shifts;
- technical education is an advantage;
- experience in technical support, a call center or as a duty communications operator is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 70,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave of 30 days;
- service away from the line of contact, at a distance from the front.
