The cook prepares meals for the personnel of an unmanned systems brigade and handles each dish from initial processing of ingredients to serving. The work follows standard recipe cards in the unit's kitchen, with responsibility for food storage, equipment and cleanliness; when needed, it includes trips to feed personnel in areas where tasks are carried out.
Responsibilities
- initial preparation of ingredients before cooking;
- cooking dishes according to standard recipe cards and quality requirements;
- ensuring proper storage conditions for food products;
- serving meals to unit personnel;
- following hygiene rules and safety regulations when handling food;
- correct operation of kitchen equipment.
Requirements
- knowledge of cooking techniques and hygiene rules;
- ability to cook for large numbers of people;
- neatness and a responsible attitude to the result;
- physical stamina;
- readiness to carry out tasks in combat areas.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- service mostly in the rear, housing and meals provided;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
