Vampire Bomber Drone Operator
Non-Combat Roles20 000-50 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The Vampire bomber drone operator carries out range trials of munitions and initiation devices dropped from heavy bomber drones: plans the trials, performs drops in set modes, records the conditions of each run and compares the results with existing data. The work is done within the test group of an unmanned systems brigade and combines range trips with processing of results.
Responsibilities
- planning trials of munitions and initiation devices using bomber drones;
- piloting a heavy bomber drone, mainly the Vampire, during range trials;
- performing drops in set modes and recording the conditions of each run;
- analysing the results and comparing them with existing data;
- keeping drones and equipment ready for use;
- preparing and transporting munitions and equipment to the trial site.
Requirements
- confident computer skills for processing trial results;
- category B driving licence and experience driving a passenger car;
- self-organisation and ability to work in a team;
- physical strength to carry munition crates;
- combat experience with bomber drones is a significant advantage;
- a certificate of completed training as a heavy bomber drone operator is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- rear-area service is possible, housing and meals provided;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
