Secure Communications Node Operator

The secure communications node operator handles the exchange of protected messages between the command of an unmanned systems brigade and higher headquarters: receives and logs messages, encodes and decodes them with dedicated equipment and stores classified documents. The work is done at a fixed communications node, at a computer and equipment, under strict secrecy rules.
Responsibilities
- receiving messages and keeping the operations log on a computer in a dedicated information exchange system;
- encoding and decoding messages using specialised equipment;
- preventing leaks of information that constitutes a state or military secret;
- receiving, registering and storing classified documents;
- maintaining protected communication channels and computer networks;
- observing the established secrecy rules at the communications node.
Requirements
- training in the communications security specialty;
- familiarity with secure communications equipment and its operating procedures;
- attentiveness, discipline and the ability to keep to secrecy rules;
- confident computer skills.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
