UAV Launch Operator
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The UAV launch operator prepares aircraft for flight at a forward post: helps set up the launch site, checks that the drone and munitions are in working order and fits the aircraft with the payload for a specific task. The work is done in a launch crew at a forward position, in coordination with logistics, technical support and medical evacuation teams.
Responsibilities
- helping set up and deploy the forward UAV post and launch site;
- checking that drones and munitions are ready for use;
- fitting drones with munitions according to the assigned task;
- regularly checking the technical condition of equipment at the position;
- keeping technical equipment, communications and power sources in working order;
- coordinating with logistics, technical support and medical evacuation teams.
Requirements
- readiness for combat work in a UAV launch crew;
- physical fitness for work in field conditions;
- responsibility and readiness to work as part of a team;
- willingness to learn and adapt to new conditions;
- combat experience is a significant advantage;
- experience with drones or munitions is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- additional payments based on combat performance;
