Heavy Bomber Drone Pilot
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The heavy bomber drone pilot flies large unmanned aircraft such as the Vampire, which drop munitions on targets and deliver supplies to positions. Together with the crew, plans the route, prepares the aircraft for flight, checks the release systems and keeps the equipment serviceable. The work is done at a distance from the front line, with equipment set up at a field position.
Responsibilities
- flying heavy strike drones, mainly the Vampire type;
- carrying out logistics missions delivering supplies by drone;
- preparing the aircraft for flight and checking the release systems;
- planning the flight route together with the crew;
- keeping the drones in serviceable condition;
- moving and setting up equipment at the field position.
Requirements
- confident computer use and readiness to learn quickly;
- category B driving licence and experience driving a passenger car;
- ability to work in a team;
- high level of self-organization and responsibility;
- combat experience with bomber drones is an advantage;
- a certificate from a heavy drone operator course is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with their commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- personal protective equipment and gear provided;
