Heavy Strike Drone Crew Navigator
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The heavy strike drone crew navigator works in a pair with the pilot: guides them on the map and terrain during flight, helps fix the aircraft's position before the approach to the target and make an accurate drop, and restores control if the link is lost. After the flight, keeps a record of the mission and reports to the control post. This is field work as part of a crew.
Responsibilities
- guiding the pilot on the terrain and map during flight;
- helping fix the aircraft's position before the approach to the target;
- assisting with accurate drops when required;
- restoring control of the aircraft if the link is lost;
- keeping a record of how the combat mission unfolds;
- reporting to the control post when required and after the flight ends.
Requirements
- readiness to work in the field as part of a drone crew;
- map-reading and land navigation skills;
- willingness to learn quickly and master new equipment;
- attentiveness and composure during long shifts at a position;
- experience with navigation software is an advantage;
- experience with drones or combat experience is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- personal protective equipment, gear and uniform provided;
