Strike Drone Operator
Combat Roles50 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The strike drone operator controls an unmanned aircraft system during a flight: conducts reconnaissance, engages designated targets, processes the data received from the aircraft and reports the result to the commander. Prepares the system and checks the control links before each flight. Works as part of a crew in an unmanned systems brigade, in the field, by day and by night.
Responsibilities
- controlling unmanned aircraft systems during flights;
- carrying out reconnaissance tasks and gathering information about the enemy;
- engaging designated targets;
- analysing and processing the data received from the aircraft;
- reporting observation results to the unit commander;
- preparing the system for flight and checking the control links;
- carrying out tasks both by day and by night.
Requirements
- basic understanding of navigation, topography and how antennas work;
- readiness to work in the field;
- gamepad or joystick control skills, including from video games;
- experience with drones and a soldering iron is an advantage;
- completion of the Victory Drones course on the Prometheus platform is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, insurance and free medical treatment;
- annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
