UAS Pilot / Operator
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The UAV pilot prepares unmanned aircraft for flight, launches and operates them, then processes the collected data and passes it to the command. The role combines technical literacy, analytical thinking and strict adherence to flight safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- preparing for flight and launching unmanned aerial vehicles, tactical or reconnaissance;
- operating UAVs in field conditions;
- monitoring flights and collecting video, photo and telemetry data;
- initial processing and passing of information to analytical groups;
- checking the technical condition of equipment, batteries and communication systems;
- maintaining flight logs and reports;
- observing flight safety and information protection standards.
Requirements
- basic knowledge of aviation or IT equipment;
- ability to operate unmanned aircraft;
- understanding of the principles of communications, navigation and GPS systems;
- analytical thinking, attentiveness and accuracy in action;
- experience with Mission Planner is an advantage;
- knowledge of UAV maintenance (repair, calibration) is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- professional training and support.
