An Excavator Operator/Driver is a service member responsible for performing engineering and earthmoving tasks using an excavator, preparing positions, fortifications, and technical structures to support unit operations in combat conditions.
Responsibilities
- performing earthmoving work using an excavator;
- grading and leveling soil;
- ensuring proper technical condition and timely routine maintenance of the machine;
- complying with safety and occupational health requirements;
- skilled operation of the machine in various conditions and terrain orientation.
Requirements
- age 18+;
- driver’s license categories B, C;
- experience operating an excavator;
- relevant certification confirming excavator operation skills;
- fitness for military service by health and psychological standards;
- willingness to work in active combat zones;
- previous military service experience is not mandatory (unit provides quality training);
- high motivation and stress resilience;
- willingness to learn and develop;
- teamwork skills, responsibility, and discipline.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service;
- possibility of transfer for current service members with commander’s consent;
- possibility of service for candidates deemed fit for support units by the military medical board;
- competitive pay starting from 20,000 UAH depending on tasks and duty location;
- provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals;
- social benefits under current legislation, including 30 days of annual leave and medical support.
