A UAV Interceptor Operator is a service member responsible for detecting and tracking enemy drones, controlling interceptor systems in real time, analyzing sensor data, and ensuring uninterrupted operation of interception equipment in combat conditions.
Responsibilities
- operating unmanned aerial interceptor systems to ensure their effective use;
- monitoring the airspace and detecting enemy UAVs;
- directing interceptors onto detected targets and controlling their flight path;
- performing real-time missions to neutralize hostile UAVs;
- analyzing sensor data and assessing mission effectiveness;
- ensuring continuous and reliable operation of interceptor equipment and systems.
Requirements
- age 25+;
- responsibility and attention to detail;
- ability to work with specialized radio equipment and software;
- experience with UAVs is an advantage (training is provided in unit training centers or by manufacturers if needed);
- willingness to work in active combat zones;
- discipline, good organization, and ability to work as part of a team;
- willingness to learn and develop.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract military service;
- possibility of transfer for current service members with their commander’s consent;
- pay from 20,000 to 120,000 UAH depending on duty location;
- timely and full provision of clothing, financial, medical, and social support;
- guaranteed annual leave;
- service in a cohesive unit with a healthy, supportive environment.
