Non-Combat Roles20 000-50 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
UAV instructor provides training for service members and recruits, teaches piloting of reconnaissance and engagement unmanned complexes, organizes crew coordination and supervises training flights. The role includes development of educational materials, route planning and analysis of employment results. Primary focus — high quality instruction and safe system operation.
Responsibilities
- Motivating recruits by personal example within the AFU;
- Teaching piloting of reconnaissance and engagement UAV complexes;
- Training and coordinating UAV crews and calculations;
- Developing training materials and planning flight routes;
- Supervising training flights and pre- and post-flight preparation;
- Analyzing effectiveness and after-action results;
- Configuring and performing minor UAV repairs;
- Cooperating with related sections.
