UAV tester performs practical inspection of unmanned aerial vehicles before transfer to crews, assesses serviceability of assemblies and control systems and records detected defects. The role involves work at test ranges and in field conditions with cooperation with engineers and operators. Primary focus — technical correctness, flight safety and compliance with standards.
Responsibilities
- Preparing UAVs for test flights and inspections;
- Checking technical condition of electronic and mechanical assemblies;
- Conducting ground and flight testing;
- Assessing stability of control and communication systems;
- Identifying and documenting defects;
- Cooperating with engineers and crews for improvement;
- Monitoring compliance with safety and fire regulations;
- Analyzing testing results;
- Handling components and consumables;
- Following technical requirements;
- Participating in training;
- Ensuring security while operating equipment;
- Preparing final documentation.
Requirements
- Practical UAV maintenance or assembly experience is an advantage;
