The UAV company commander leads a unit that operates FPV drones, heavy bomber drones and fixed-wing aircraft. Plans combat missions, allocates them among the crews and directs the company's actions while they are carried out. Responsible for training personnel, keeping the drone systems serviceable and analysing the results of each mission for reporting to the command.
Responsibilities
- leading the company and setting tasks for its personnel;
- planning combat missions and directing the company's actions while they are carried out;
- organising the use of FPV drones, heavy bomber drones and fixed-wing aircraft for their intended purposes;
- organising crew training and maintaining the company's combat capability;
- monitoring the serviceability and readiness of the drone systems;
- analysing mission results and reporting to the command.
Requirements
- experience managing personnel;
- experience working with unmanned aerial vehicles;
- in-depth technical knowledge of how FPV drones, heavy bomber drones and fixed-wing aircraft are employed;
- leadership and communication skills;
- readiness to carry out tasks in a combat zone.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and additional leave;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
