Electrical Engineer

The electrical engineer provides the unit with independent power where there is no grid: installs and commissions solar power stations, generators and backup power systems, lays cable runs and sets up monitoring. After commissioning, maintains the installed equipment and finds and fixes faults on site.
Responsibilities
- connecting and configuring solar power stations and backup power systems;
- installing inverters, distribution boards, current transformers and generators;
- laying DC and AC cable runs;
- setting up equipment monitoring systems;
- commissioning work on installed stations;
- diagnosing and fixing faults in station operation;
- servicing the installed equipment.
Requirements
- vocational training in electrical engineering;
- hands-on experience in electrical installation work;
- experience commissioning and tuning inverters and generators;
- ability to read electrical diagrams and drawings;
- experience working with AC and DC systems;
- knowledge of how power stations and generators work and of electrical safety rules.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- support from the unit's psychologists when needed.
