
UAV Crew Commander

The UAV crew commander prepares people and equipment for each flight, directs the crew during a combat mission and reports the outcome to the commander. Is responsible both for the serviceability of the unmanned systems and for training subordinates in how to use them and work together as a team. The position is within an unmanned systems brigade.
Responsibilities
- commanding a UAV crew and assigning tasks to its personnel;
- planning combat missions and preparing the crew to carry them out;
- directing the crew's actions during a combat mission;
- checking that the unmanned systems are serviceable and ready for use;
- training subordinates in UAV employment techniques and building crew coordination;
- reporting mission results to the unit commander.
Requirements
- higher education;
- experience managing personnel;
- experience working with drones and understanding of how they are used in combat;
- leadership and communication skills;
- good physical fitness and stamina.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
