The system administrator maintains the network infrastructure of an unmanned aviation unit, on which communications and access to data depend. The role covers deploying local and Wi-Fi networks, configuring routers and access points, managing user accounts and access rights, and protecting restricted information from cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- keeping local networks, Wi-Fi and cabling running without interruption;
- deploying and upgrading the unit's network infrastructure;
- installing and configuring routers, switches and access points;
- rolling out and monitoring antivirus, intrusion detection and data leak prevention systems;
- managing user accounts, access rights and network security policy;
- protecting restricted information in line with military standards;
- installing, configuring and updating general and specialised software.
Requirements
- knowledge of computer network design and basic network protocols;
- experience configuring routers, switches and access points;
- skills in administering operating systems and user accounts;
- understanding of the basics of information security and protection of official data;
- responsibility for safeguarding restricted data.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already in military service;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- full material support, housing and meals;
- travel to the unit's location is organised;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
